Irish Family Farming

The Irish Family Farming Foundation is being established to channel tangible support to family-farm-focused rural Ireland. Whilst Ireland is making an economic recovery, how much evidence is there of this recovery in rural areas? Whilst many consider that food production has a buoyant future, others are concerned that the benefits will not filter through to family farms. This is due to imbalances within the supply-chain; a situation that has to be redressed if family-farming is to be financially sustainable. Central to our work will be creating fair and equitable food supply chains. Our website is to be found at http://www.irishfamilyfarming.org
